About Michelle...
"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." Maya Angelou Michelle's perfect day includes a good cup of coffee, deep conversations and laughing too loudly. Travelling is one of Michelle's greatest joys. She has visited over twenty countries, including six months in India doing communications volunteer work in a Children's Home. She also enjoys photography, sitcoms, and Camembert cheese. Michelle has a Bachelor of Education, Secondary (English Major, Art Minor) from the University of Alberta. She also studied Journalism at MacEwan University College. Michelle is a member of the Writer's Guild of Alberta and Edmonton Writers Group. She lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with her favourite person in the whole world (who she ended up marrying) and her kitten, Pope Benedict I. She is the communications designer for the CHILD Foundation. The Foundation is a Canadian charitable organisation that partners with communities in developing countries to bridge the gap by promoting mutual learning, health, and development. They are currently working in India and South Africa.
